One of two known pieces!
Great rarity gold coin sample with Head of a Woman with twice placed inscription of the sample - on the stamp (convex inscription under the chin) and on the coin (punched inscription SAMPLE on the neck).
The typeface of the concave inscription is consistent with inscriptions on other samples of the period.
The only piece known to date sold at the 23rd Niemczyk auction (2019, lot 1222, price 32,400 zloty). This one is the second one.
Very nice state of preservation.
Trial gold coin 1932 designed by Antoni Madeyski. This design was successfully implemented for the higher denominations of 2, 5 and 10 zloty, but the 1 zloty denomination in this version did not live to see circulation.
Mintage unknown.
Silver, diameter 20 mm, weight 3.45 g.
