Seweryn Rzewuski - Field Hetman of the Crown 1774-1793, Member of the Delegation Sejm, spoke out against dissidents, on the orders of N.R. Repnin arrested together with his father (Waclaw Rzewuski), deported to Kaluga and from 1775 associated with F.K. Branicki. Member of the magnate opposition. During the Four-Year Sejm he fought against the reform program, co-founder and leader of the Targowitz confederation. After the Second Partition of Poland, he resigned the Hetman's office and settled in Galicia.
